During these challenging times, everyone is looking for ways they can help small businesses. Our communities are stepping up to purchase take-out, buy gift cards, and share messages. One thing you should be asking for help with is getting more online reviews for your business.
As a small business owner, we sometimes don't like asking for things, but right now, you need help. Don't be afraid to post a message on Facebook, Instagram or even send an email to your customer list.
Ask your customers to leave a review on Facebook or Google. Let them know that this one small thing will have a tremendous impact on helping people find out about you in the future. Google reviews are harder to come by, so don't be afraid to specifically ask for those alone.
If you're currently closed, mention how it will go a long way when you can reopen. If you are currently able to serve customers, mention how it will help right now, as you try to maintain.
As an added touch, e-sign the message (dash, your name) to make it even more personal and help with that human connection (people helping people).
