Spreading Positivity: Sidewalk Chalk

When facing a crisis like a global pandemic, it can be difficult to think of content ideas, especially if your business is closed. But the truth is, your business needs social media more than ever right now. Do not go dark. Do not just wait this out. Get on the offensive!

Below is one content idea to help put some color in your newsfeed while sending a positive message that should make sure your customers smile...

๐™Ž๐™„๐˜ฟ๐™€๐™’๐˜ผ๐™‡๐™† ๐˜พ๐™ƒ๐˜ผ๐™‡๐™†

You might see a lot of sidewalk in your newsfeed right now, as people have turned to chalk to leave positive messages in their neighborhoods. As a small business, this is a trend you could easily jump on and also share positive messages that look great in the newsfeed.

"๐™๐™๐™–๐™ฃ๐™  ๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ช, _____________ " would be a quick one to do. Just insert the name of your community and take a photo. When you post it, include what you're thankful for (are people still placing orders? buying gift cards? sharing your messages? or just general support of a small business).

"๐™’๐™š ๐™ข๐™ž๐™จ๐™จ ๐™ฎ๐™ค๐™ช!! " would work if you're not currently able to serve customers in a normal capacity (try adding your business name in the picture and/or your name if your customers know you).

If you're super good with chalk, try ๐—ฎ๐—ฑ๐—ฑ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐˜€ or other elements around the text. Use tape to make a cool border. Or even try to do your logo in chalk.

Have kids? Have them draw it and include them in the photo. That would be a great way to help humanize your brand and further connect with your customers. โค๏ธ
