Improve User Experience: Update Your Link In Bio

When’s the last time you checked your link in bio on Instagram?

Odds are, it links to the homepage of your website, which certainly isn’t a bad thing.

But especially now, there could be a better use of that real estate...

Make your link in bio go to your most important business campaign right now. Is it your takeout menu? Gift card sales? Link your bio there, then you can continuously post about it and mention to your followers that they can easily click the link in bio. This is a much better user experience than copy-and-pasting a long link into a caption that isn’t clickable!

To take this one step further, add a CTA (call to action) to your bio about why someone should click that link. And make it enticing, not just generic!

  • Instead of “Sign up for our newsletter,” try “Get FREE exclusive perks and coupons here!

  • Instead of “Check out our website,” try “20% OFF SALE happening now!” (just make sure you remember to change that when your sale is done)
